Multiple 500cc Engines

Hi,
I am in possession of 2 x 500cc Krauser engines and soon to be in possession of a set of ADM Yamaha crankcases.
So here it is.
Krauser engine No.1 is complete and running. Have had running on a test bench. It is worn but comes with the following.
Standard crankshafts
ARCO gearbox with a variety of ratio's
3YL TZ250 cylinders
Millett Racing exhausts
38mm flatslide Delorto's.
Everything to completely rebuild. Pistons, rods, crankpins, main bearings including the Split type, crankcases seals, gaskets, etc
Krauser No.2
This engine is in pieces and I will be as honest as possible.
It had a conrod failure on No.4. There is evidence it was repaired previous to this failure. It has been repaired but the cases were welded without a mandrel. I have machined up a mandrel out of 4140 which will allow the cases to be stress relieved. So needless to say work is required
This engine is No.80 and according to Charlie from ADM it is or could be the last Krauser made.
It also has an arco gearbox and everthing as listed with the first engine.
Other spares include
- Complete set of ADM crankshafts for Krauser fitment (Perfect Condition)
- Complete set of TZ500 standard crankshafts. (Repairs required)
- 20 spare 3YL TZ250 cylinders
- 4 spare 4DP TZ250 cylinders
- 4 Brand new heads
- Complete set of jets, needles, tuning data etc etc
- About 5 spare ignitions. (I have never tested these units)
These are the things I think are most relevant. I have boxes of TZ500 gearbox components, shafts, selectors, clutches, water pumps just everythin you can imagine.
The ADM cases are to replace the damaged Krauser cases. They are in perfect condition however: They use 3LC TZ250 cylinders for which I have no spares. Only the 4 which come with it.
These engines are for sale in Australia but I will ship world wide.
I may be willing to sell engines separetly but spares will vary. I dont want to end up with 80% of an engine and be unable to complete as I think we all know how hard some components are to find.
email me at
glen.west@centennialcoal.com.au for any more detail. I do have a video of one engine running on the test bench.
I will get some photo's together of all the engines and spares and email to interested parties.
Thank you.
