Have had this email -
I’m trying to contact John Wright Bailey. He was a sidecar racer back in the early 70s.

Evening Steve et al !!

I've just joined your site tonight. so can I repeat my request and ask if anyone knows how I can get hold of John W-B? I'm just guessing but he may live down in Basildon and have a partner named Pamela.

John is responsible for a design of steering that i think would lend itself well to sidecar-cross. so i'd like to talk to him about it?

my business is here at ***.taffmeisters.co.uk and there you'll see my number is 01353 72388* and know that my intentions are true!

I hope someone can help

regards

Der Taffmeister!

hello

I had a phone call from JWB's son recently. I believe that JWB has been passed away a good few years now. JWB was a great innovator and had several patents. he's mentioned in the 'bible' of chassis design for a new steering system he designed. anyone who gets anything in Tony Foale's book gets a medal!

regards
