The final round of the 'Ace of Aintree' road races were held in glorious conditions and with only the F1 catagory to be decided and a round of the FSRA Championship we were spoiled with 5 races to watch during the day.

(70) Tony and Sarah Banister and their Triumph Thunderbird 650

(11) Pat Gallagher and Sean Rooney -Derbyshire Suzuki 1135

(9) Chris and Gary Faithurst- Yamaha 1100

(181) David Tibbs and Bev Jolly -Kawasaki 900

(48) Mark Berry's 600 Yamaha

Alan Molyneux's Baker Suzuki 750 fitted with his second new swing arm of the season

(65) Dave Kruse's 998 Suzuki

(26) Trevor Robinson's 600 Windle Honda

My youngest showing an interest at last.

(44) Alan Founds' TFR Suzuki 600 complete with his new swingarm

Team Founds/Pete's machine in fore ground suffered with engine problems for the second meet running

(72) Alan Taylor and Phil Parks -350 Yamaha ( I am not sure who the chap is though)

(89) Craig Hauxwell's CLK 600 Honda

(3) Alan and John Longshaw's 350 Yamaha

(5) Robert and Philip Biggs LCR Yamaha the NEW Ace of Aintree Champions F1

(15) Kev Thornton and Wayne Kemp on their new LCR the Ex John Holden machine instantly lapping faster and looking good

Wattie Brown's350 Yamaha had a good convincing win in the FSRA Trophy race

Dave Holden's Ireson ADM 500

A disappointing day for Dave with clutch problems just after qualifying and then a missfire which dogged them all day

Don't you just love the exhaust layout on this machine

Fritz,,,
