Have just received a message by carrier pigeon that was necessarily brief of a change at the top table ...

Ian is no longer the chairman. The committee voted him out after the AGM yesterday. Too popular with the members allegedly.

I think its a disgrace.

Sad news. Fail to see how a popular chairman can be voted out. CRMC is sadly now nothing how I remember it and even more so how it was intended

I just sent Ian a txt to say how sorry I was to hear this news and to invite him to come on the show to tell us, his friends why this has happened

I wouldn't have thought you would get anything but a guarded answer in a public arena.
Maybe best to ask him quietly over a couple of drinks, off the record.
