When you get a minute spare could you try again just to see if it will start? I've taken the "!" out of the filename, I'm guessing not all characters are allowed in filenames. I've told Phil before to keep them simple but they're forever getting longer

SIDECAR RADIO DIARY – DARLEY MOOR 2015. EPISODE 1.
SIDECAR RADIO DIARY – DARLEY MOOR 2015. EPISODE 1.
Are you all sitting comfortably? Then I’ll begin.
It all started so well. Despite more traffic hell the team arrived on Friday afternoon to erect the awning and chill out. Alan Warner had a bit of trouble putting the second BEARs outfit together after the journey from IOM, but it was all finished by bedtime. Partying was assisted by the arrival of Jamie Winn and Jayne Morris and everything looked grand for Saturday.
Slow Phil and Lady Sidecar sailed through scrutineering and were looking forward to getting out for practice. We flew out of the holding area, through the chicane and round the first bend, and then the bike just died! We’d only travelled about 400 yards! We sat out the rest of practice on the bank and then got the “Push of Shame” from the recovery van. Back in the paddock the problem was quickly found – a flat battery. The culprit was our battery charger, which had failed in its duty and found itself in the bin. Luckily help was at hand and both our batteries were put on charge ready for race 1.
We got a good start from position 5 and sparred with Adam and John all the way round. We finished 1st, but Adam pipped us with a new lap record. It was lovely to see David Sykes and Dave Williams back with us after their spill at Anglesey. Alan Warner and Ian Tennant were gutted to be stopped by a brake failure on lap 3.
Then came race 2. We had grid position 4 and Phil made a cracking start, tearing through the pack to claim the lead. There appeared to be no stopping us, by lap 3 we were coming up on back markers and had stretched out our lead, but then disaster struck. We slid nicely round the hairpin and everything felt fine as we approached a back marker at the left kink. Phil accelerated to overtake on the inside, everything still felt normal, but then the bike just went straight for the tyre wall. The impact tipped the chair up, Lady Sidecar flew off the back closely followed by Slow Phil, and they both hit the tyres and the track. Lady Sidecar was up quickly but Slow Phil was not so lucky. He had not been knocked out but had clearly taken a big bang to his head and was very confused. Lady Sidecar stabilized his head and opened his visor, then the marshals were there, followed rapidly by the medics. Slow Phil needed expert attention at the trackside and needed to be checked out at the hospital, but was back in the paddock that evening. Sidecar Radio would like to thank Jamie Winn for supporting Marica Jones, who witnessed the incident, and helping with transport to and from hospital.
We missed the re-started race 2, which provided much excitement and saw Adam/John and John/Jim dicing with each other all the way around. The lap record was broken several more times, with Adam/John eventually getting the title. Congratulations to Alan/Ian on another 3rd place.
Both Slow Phil and Lady Sidecar were fortunate to get off lightly from a potentially serious incident. The marshals and medics were quick, efficient and professional and did a fantastic job. All of our friends from BHR rallied round with good wishes and hugs, we had a great time in the Sidecar Radio awning when Slow Phil got back from hospital!
Episode 2 will follow soon; watch this space for the exploits of Lady Sidecar and Paul Bateman.

Show 76 Marion Carnall , Rick Long , Rob Fisher , Dave Francis , Scot Parnell and Gary Bloke .

It’s a funny thing but even no in this modern digital age things can get left in the back of the filing cabinet. Well this show deals with three great interviews from Marion and Gary Bloke that I managed to over look at the time of recording.
As I write this I’m straining at the leash, in just a few minuets I’ll be off to the British F2 at Cadwell to meet some great folk and maybe interview a few familiar voices.
Thanks to everyone involved in making this show

Show 80 Jayne Morris for the Chair !!
www.sidecarradio.co.uk
http://www.steveenglish.com/index.php/s ... decar-show
Sometimes life throws you what the yanks call a ‘curve ball’, sometimes it’s a bad thing and sometimes it’s someone like Jayne Morris.
I liked her from the first; she’s a little bit boisterous and certainly knows how to have a good time but behind that is a very shrewd and powerful thinker who is not afraid of hard work!
We in the BHR need a new Chairman and Jayne has been nominated for the post. Please take an hour to listen to this show and find out just why I think this girl has the qualities to get this club under control and back at the forefront of Great British Club Racing!
I would like to offer you this little fact, when I had my head shaved for charity a month ago, Jayne took a collection bucket and worked all day and into the night and raised £703 on her own! There are folk that talk a good job and then there are leaders like Jayne Morris.
As always my thanks to all the folk who helped make this show

Show 82 Dan Sayle and Molly talk to Marion and Jo Williams wile I revisit land speed heartache with Kevin Cock.
www,sidecarradio.co.uk
http://www.steveenglish.com/index.php/s ... decar-show
TT heroes Dave Molyneux and Dan Sayle are caught by the girls at this years super bike round at Silverstone where they talk in a light hearted but candid way about their race against the ‘big’ bikes, the coming 2016 season, their plans for the TT and of course past TT glory. Dave and I have talked about a memoir show and I hope to get over the water to see him this winter.
Kevin Cock and I talk again about Team Page’s land speed record attempts, both solo and sidecar and the possibility of the Sidecar Radio team joining them at Pendine Sands next year.
My thanks go out to Marion and Jo for their excellent work on this show and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Jo Williams into the SCR team.
