IOM TT - Sidecar Newcomers
Posted: Mon Feb 17, 2014 4:07 pm
Hi,
As you may already be aware, there have been some changes to the way in which we manage circuit familiarisation for Sidecar TT Newcomers.
We are as committed as ever to helping Isle of Man TT Sidecar Newcomers with preparing for their event debut, and arrangements will be made with newcomer drivers and passengers for them to visit the Island for individual one-on-one course learning trips. We have several experienced drivers and passengers who are based on Island and are very keen and willing to spend their time with our newcomers and to share their knowledge and experience.
For any newcomers visiting the Island this coming weekend (22/23rd Feb) that haven’t already been in touch with me, please do get in touch as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made for you. The TT Grandstand Press Centre will be open from around 10am on each morning for Sidecar TT Newcomers and also any current drivers and passengers who are on the Island are welcome to call past.
As an aside, and on the social side, for this coming weekend I have been asked to let you know that there are several sidecar drivers and passengers visiting the Island over the weekend and an informal ‘meet’ has been planned for around 8.30pm on Saturday evening at the Manor pub in Douglas – all welcome.
For any other questions regarding the Sidecar TT, newcomer enquiries, help with the online entry system or anything else TT related that I can help you with, please contact me direct at Sophie.Lowney@gov.im or 07624 455236.
Thanks
Sophie
