Oil cooler question

R6 2006-2013 motor. Need a fitting for fitting In front of the heat exchange to attach oilines onto.cant fit by oil filter as by front sprocket. Poss same fitting as a r1 motor. Any ideas please. Ta Dixie

why dont you fit a sandwich take off behind filter . Ive just given Ian Bell one to do the same

Get an adaptor made & ditch the heat exchanger. They are mostly there to speed up engine warm up time in the road bike & are not a good way of keeping the oil cool just a way of putting extra heat into your water cooling.

second that,i got rid of the exchanger and never looked back Matt as you know im Suzuki, so tony baker made mine,bolts straigh to exchanger fittings then AN10 to oil cooler, shortest run as you can and try not to have the cooler much higher than sump oil level or you will get exess oil drain back and longer time for oil press to build upon start

Ian said the Baker with intercooler left in place AND the adapter from Dean behind the filter ran cooler than the LCR with the adapter in place of the intercooler at the TT.

You have to do and change to make whatever you have work in your situation .Hence the joys of logging the information . Or learning and copying off those who have
