I'm new to this forum. I'm an amateur artist and have an interest in classic sidecar racing history. I enjoy portraying actual scenes of riders and I strive for accuracy in my artwork. I've come across a photo of Florian Camathias, with the notation being "Florian Camathias & P. Nacht, on BMW Sidecar, winning Pau GP, France, 22 April, 1962". My question is What is the first name of Nacht? Searched the web without any luck and I'm hoping someone on the forum can provide me with an answer. The photo I'm working with is attached.

Hi all,

Camathias had a passenger in 1962 with the name "Peter Nacht". Unfortunately I do not know more about him. Anyway, the name seems to be German (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)

Kind regards

Lothar

Hi Lothar.....if you do not know the answer then I do not think anyone else will. You are be far the greatest authority on
classic sidecar racing.
Not only is your recently published book a masterpiece, but for it to have every page written in German and English is a
fantastic achievement THANK YOU
