Yoshi EMPro advice?

I'm about to fit an EMpro and loom and I looked at the disc that comes with it all and it looks complicated, but is it?
Do I need the original switch gear because it looks like its saying I do, I'm trying to keep things simple so if I can just fit the Yoshi loom like I did the standard loom and off we go, that would be great.
Anyone.

It depends on the year of the engine & if it has ABC modes & you want to use it for different engine maps.

K8 and K9, I'm not bothered about different maps.

Using the EMpro couldnt be simpler.
Just plug it in with whatever wiring harness you had (plus the supplied mini loom to bypass ignition security etc..)
Use one button to start (and a clutch lever for clutch interlock if applicable) and you're sorted.
You dont actually need to use the software or interface lead unless you are using the quickshifter/ pit speed limiter or are having the bike dyno'd (at which point it'll be the Dyno tech that uses it for you).
Make sure you disconnect any TRE that is currentyl in the system, the EMpro works better without one.

I'm using the full Yoshi loom with the EMpro so it should just work when everything's plugged in going off what you said, I got rid of the TRE I was using previously and it will be going on the Dyno but as you said the Dyno tech can deal with that.
Thanks for that, I'll get on with it.

So do you have to have the original switch gear?
