We were informed today by Anja of the death of 'Harry Vermuelan' after a long fight against cancer.
Leo Kuypers introduced me to Harry when he switched from vintage to the Dutch F1 series in the late 1990's
Harry was an instant front runner despite being new to modern machinery.After a layoff Harry joined the Classic
scene a few years ago with his immaculate, beautifully prepared trident.

That's really bad news, known Harry since Jehonville in the 90`s smashing bloke, great sense of humour,one of lifes greats,

Had an email off Harry about three weeks ago thanking me for his getting his bike done for one last season, R.I.P Harry.

Yesterday was Harry's send-off in style. Harry was accompanied from his home to the crematorium by an escort of many bikers and at the crematorium nine classic racing outfits were lined up on the roadside. A massive crowd had turned up to show their respect.
