It's to ensure demand Pete. As you know the market works on supply and demand. The more demand there is the more people will need a supply and the more supply that's in need then obviously the bigger the market.
The bigger market available pretty much guarantees that if there were enough boats this year (two directions and people went both ways so yes enough boats) then that will mean there are definitely more than enough in 2016.

Point taken, but the amount of people that we talk to who would come but can`t seem to get decent crossings so don`t bother must be doing the IOM out of lots of money, they seem to market the events heavily but have no plan B if their marketing succeeds the way they want ,the proof is the Classic TT/Manx you haven't been able to get a crossing now for months

Make sure you have some fish on board and make quite a few decks......................then it can be a multi storey carp ark
