Entries go to Ben Ludford now contact details are here :- http://www.derbyphoenix.co.uk/contact-us/ and as Ben And Zoe are new to the Race Administration role, entries on the day will be a real strain for them. Payment on the day isn't such an issue, but they really need the paperwork sent in as soon as possible in order to get the admin done and dusted in advance.

Lots of people on here expressed a strong desire to support the Derby Phoenix Club as it has always had a strong Sidecar ethos. Sadly only two (that's right TWO) teams have so far registered as club members, which makes me wonder how long the others are going to wait before they join.

I have absolutely no axe to grind here, but I would ask that if you have a free weekend on 12th/13th September (which most of you have) please strongly consider entering this event. A full grid of sidecars will go a long way towards ensuring the future of this great old club.

Any sidecar crews that really want to preserve this very Sidecar Friendly organisation really should enter (even if you're racing at Mallory on the Sunday, just enter for the Saturday at Cadwell Park). If we don't all do our bit this will end up being another one of those great old clubs we can't race with anymore because they are gone....

I know some of the cynics here might think that's easy for me to say as it isn't costing me anything - but you'd be very wrong. I have already put my money where my mouth is (quite a lot of it too) purely because I REALLY don't want to lose this great club.
Come on, it's just another number on the overdraft and Winter will be here sooner than you think.......... and that means No Racing for 4 months!

Who's coming to Cadwell this weekend then? For those of you arriving on Friday,we will be there waiting in the scrutineering bay to check your bike early evening onwards,can you remember to come fully clothed if you want leathers,helmets,boots & gloves checked please. Looking forward to seeing you all

We will commencing scrutineering from 17.00 till 19.00 on Friday evening. There is NO signing on until the Saturday morning.
We would appreciate COLD bikes please
Probably starting about 07.00 on Saturday. But it'll be a later start for the noise testing.
