BMW 'bean tin' ignition unit replacement

Hello three dimensional carbon based life forms. We use a BMW r75 flat twin in our old big wheel kneeler outfit. It has Boyer ignition with a crank end trigger so the original bean tin ignition is redundant but still fitted and not too pleasing to the eye....
Does anyone know of a 'blank' to replace the bean tin? Am looking to liberate a little space between engine and forks to fit a front mudguard. Not very manly I know but at our one wet meeting todate I nearly drowned on the start/finish straight at cadwell through 'forced oral colonic irigation effect'. And I dont want to suffer the same near death experience next year.
Motorworks/Motobins no joy for info. Thanks all. Jon Ryden
