gsxr1052 help needed

hi all thank you for looking at my post ,,, now I have got a f1 outfit that is fitted with a gsxr 1100 - 1052 ,it is tuned and is running a dry sump my problem that I need to aske is , how much oil to put in , I am running a big oil cooler with about 1mtr of hose ,in and out , now is it that simple that I just fill to original case mark on the engine , thank you for your help as I have not had much to do with dry sums, I thought that I would aske rather than guess thank you mike

The easy answer to this is as much as the system will stand!
All dry sump systems will "find their own level" as they tend to throw oil out of the oil tank breather if there is too much.
a good place to start is to fill the tank to 2/3 rds oil 1/3 air gap and put a little oil in the engine.
Run the engine the oil in the engine will be pumped into the tank so the engine is "dry"
then you may find the tank is over full when the engine is warmed up so have a syringe ready to tak oil out of the tank
When you put the bike away you may find that the oil drains into the engine from the oil tank so always check the level when the system is well warmed up. hope this helps if in doubt phone me 07814 615275 cheers
