For sale F1 tubular sidecar with R1 engine.

Chassis was built by Gordon Shand in 1990. It's got a good history with many wins I believe.
Engine 1999 Yamaha R1 4VX engine. Done 2 meetings since re-build.
Standard carbs with stage 2 Dynojet kits.
Total loss ignition system with standard ECU.
Recent battery.
Windle front wheels with Suzuki GSXr750 discs and MV F4 callipers.
Maxton rear shock with remote reservoir and Koni front shocks.
AP brakes rear and chair.
Brake bias adjuster.
6 wheels with good tyres. Some spare tyres also.
Two complete fairings. Black one is in OK condition, orange one is well past its best.
Brand new never fitted wheel arch.
Box with a few spares inc some sprockets, ecu, clutch etc.

This bike is complete and will be ready to race. Would be an ideal starter bike at any club. Its also eligible and more than capable of winning the FSRA Pre-injection class in the right hands.

I’m after £5000.00 or open to sensible offers for a quick sale.

More than happy to ship abroad at buyers expense but I can arrange and deliver to the shipping agent. The bike and shipping would have to be paid for before it leaves my workshop.

For more info or additional pictures please email me on jc@anodeelectronics.co.uk

Cheers. John :D

I think I used to passenger Gordon on this one, was excellent round lefts compared to the Bakers that were prolific at the time. Good stable bike.

:raspberry: :D

I remember doing the Transatlantic with Gordon on it, the thing was ace under Starkey's and up to Macleans at Donington, that would have been about 91 or 92. I have passengered a fair few, with more than 65 drivers it must be nearer 80 bikes.
