Museums and exhibitions in the UK?

Unread post by steve-e »

I have had an email from a sidecar racer who will be coming over from the States this Edinburgh to visit family and
would love to see any museums or exhibits over there but I don’t know where I can find more info. If you know where to point me I would be grateful
So then peoples....; what do we know?

NEC, is that the National Motorcycle Museum at Birmingham?
The Sammy Miller is possibly too far South but maybe not..

where else is there? Is there anything going on in December?

If he is visiting Edinburgh,I would strongly advise visiting the museam of flight at East Fortune, you can walk onboard Concorde, and they have some very rare planes.fascinating and well worth a visit, and it is only 15 miles away. Also Beamish at Chester le Street is worth a look,if he is prepared to travel into England.
