Dave Heywood

Unread post by Big Tim »

I've just had a phone call from Graham Parkins, informing me that Dave Heywood sadly passed away at home in Sheffield last week.

Dave was a front runner on the club scene, particularly in the 1990's, racing with the Formula 5 Club (winning the championship in 1992) and also Retford & District Motor Club (again a club champion), amongst others, running a long tubular outfit. He took numerous wins, particularly at Cadwell Park, before retiring from the sport around fifteen years ago.

Funeral details are being finalised, and will be published on this forum when available.
