Dear All (Sidecar friends or Buddies)
I am on the hunt again, If anyone has a chassis they are looking to sell, I am looking for the following and will consider anything that might fit the bill.
Either Windle, Baker, Jacobs, Ireson, Windrex . I would prefer to have a rolling chassis that has all the glass intact and in good condition. Decent wheels and or sprockets, and framework. I won’t accept something that’s been bent, crashed, buckled or bodged. I would like to make sure that the bike is a rear exit, kneeler. Please E mail me or PM me, If you can I would be grateful if you can share this widely.
Thanks in Advance Boris

Don't know about Windrex, could it possibly be Windrick as built by the Terry Windle/John Crick partnership.

Geoff, F3, what is this, surely we do not need yet another class. We now have F1-F2-Vintage-Classic-Post classic/pre injection and Bears. Some of these have classes within their class.
I can not help thinking that sidecar racing was a much better spectacle when there was only one class, with full grids running heats and finals.
I know some will not agree with this, but the simple fact is there are not enough competitors for all the classes we now have, to add another will only dilute the situation

Bruce there is no such think as Post Classic in this country anymore,or f350.Just the pre injection class, and mostly its just F2 for carbs.Lets at least be honest.
As for Windrex,if you mean Windrick Boris, they only made about 16 I think, around 1969/70,Howard and Geoff would be able to be more precise about this.

Tony, that's a bit harsh on Bruce for a slight miss representation for the "new" name for Forgotten Era/ Post Classic!!
I'd even say a bit rich given that you race a TZ700/750 engined outfit in the "new" class given that, that engine ruined sidecar racing in the 70's & was the single reason, when they miss guidedly allowed the engine into the Forgotton Era class for the demise of the class. History repeating itself.
PS. I agree 100% with Howard. Also there should be a free hand to a certain extent in chassis deign. But then, there are only a few racers who have the abillity to come up with something from the garden shed given the restrictions on design since F2 became the premier class since the early 80's.

Ian why do you say the TZ ruined the racing it was available to all, yes the four strokes would not compete with a good TZ but the money you could spend on a four stroke would equate to buying a TZ so I don't really understand the statement not being funny and after all it's racing I sold my four stroke which I had spent a lot of money on because it was just not as quick as a TZ,so I bought one which in all honesty was cheaper to run than the four stroke and easier to maintain. I think it also depends on as to whether you want to win as well. Anyway all the best for the new year

Thanks for the good wishes Paul, & also to you.
What year did you buy your TZ engine & how much did it cost?, if you don't mind me asking.
