Finally got round to doing something with me old 350 Baker chassis but it needs a new front end. What would be a good steering angle? Any suggestions gratefully received.
Cheers

Well - don't know what is "best" - everyone has their own ideas - as it started life as a Baker - speak to Tony - he's built quite a few...brothersgrim wrote:What would be a good steering angle?
I built our bike to the dimensions taken off our Shelbourne (that always handled very well) - with head angle of 65 degrees - seems to handle quite nicely at that - although we did adjust the trail a bit after our first run with it...
2 strokes are the future...

Re: F350 headstock angle
That was going to be my response, headstock being tied in with trail. Within reason trail is more important than the angle of the headstock as that will mostly only affect how much tyre you have on the ground when you turn the bars, trail will give you stability or not and how heavy the steering is. If your trail is adjustable all the better for getting the setup spot on.
