An experienced TT sidecar passenger may be available if the right driver is looking... PM me if you are looking for a passenger for this year's TT.

Please do. I did put a post on the passengers available site and there have been lots of people looking at it but not a single enquiry. Beginning to think that I am not rated anymore, after 34 years doing the TT I think I know where I am going.

There's at least 4 passengers available... last year we couldn't find anyone! No takers for anyone so far. Lots of entry rejections too, i believe... looks like only 40 starters!

What do you mean by entry rejections Helen?

Drivers / Teams that have entered and not had their entry accepted. However, I don't know who or how many (although, I think one is Alan Warden, isn't it?). Rumours abound.

Yes Alan and Marc have been rejected. the organisers think that they would not be able to make the Qualifying time based on Alan's last TT, when he was a newcomer on an old bike with a standard carb fueled engine. He has a brand new bike with tuned injection engines this year and Marc has just spent money on a brand new set of leathers and helmet to match Alan's, to fit in with the new rules about being more professional. Alan had paid for his boat fares as well. Money down the pan.

Looks like they're determined to get rid of sidecars.... my only interest at the TT.

Surely that's the point of practice week, to get up to speed.
