I've seen three outfits weighed. My Ireson f2 222kg, an LCR f2 216kg and a Shelbourne f2 260kg.

According to my shipping invoices: an MRE F2 with 6 extra wheels&tires and a few spares fully crated weighed 527kg (including the crate). So the crate will weigh more then the sidecar. Also be aware that you will need to use certified lumber (has special stamps on it). If the eventual purchaser of my old F2 didn't take the crate then the Lumley's may have a slightly used certified lumber crate for sale

Happy crating.
