'8. COMPETITOR NUMBERS Upon acceptance into the Series, the Administrator will advise the number for each team. These will be based as far as is practical on numbers held historically. NEW FOR 2017: Number backgrounds & number colours: F1 outfits, 1000 cc, Black numbers on White background (as previously). Short Chassis 600 machines, White numbers on Red background (as previously). Long Chassis 600 machines – also White numbers on Red background. This provides all with a visible point of difference between 600 and 1000cc long outfits?
