Hi all,
My very first post and it’ll be looking for help. I’m looking to convert my K7 GSXR1000 to right hand gear shift to remove all the linkages, is there anyone doing a kit with a selector shaft and modified cover? Or has anyone done it and can advise on the best way to do it?
Thanks in advance,
Sam.
Some advice please?

Lots of sidecar peeps did this with Suzukis over the years. We havent got anything like that now but lots will. Try the adds section on here. Or just wait for a reply to your post.

Our one just had the selector removed, left hand splined bit cut off and welded onto the right side, boss made and welded to the side cover where the shaft goes through which fitted an OE oil sealOnlyFoolsonRSs wrote:Hi all,

Any competent engineer should be able to do it
Make sure you use a new circlip that holds the shaft in place because if it comes off and the shaft moves you get no gears, although if it does happen it's maybe an hour to fix trackside

Thanks for the replies! I have plenty of time to set the outfit up the way I want it before next season!
