There is a maximum age limit of 40 years of age for a Newcomer competitor applying for an Entry to the Isle of Man TT
Races. However, competitors aged over 40 years of age may be accepted at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course.

Indeed !

And, as the 2 last years, no Sidecar practice on Saturday eve. Only one "speed controlled lap" for Newcomers, and only Newcomers Drivers, nothing for Newcomers Passengers.

So, all those Newcomers are ready to test the Course, short of the asphalt … and have to wait for next Monday to test again.
This is a head-stumper, they could use what they learnt some minutes ago … and nothing !
And a lot of the other teams would also want to test !

And I've been told that the reason would come from some sidecar teams who wouldn't want to practice on Saturday eve !!!!
They are there, because the last (compulsory) briefing is on Saturday before noon. And nothing !

And you, what do you think about the possibility of one more Sidecar practice on Saturday eve ?

It makes perfect sense for newcomers to be able to go out again the same night while the speed controlled lap is still a fresh experience. But maybe as they will be younger they can retain the experience until Monday.
