in 2015 that was rear wheel spindle.The rear facing section of the rear seat must cover the rear driving wheel down to the level of the rear wheel rim.

Would that be the top of the rim or the bottom (which will result in a lot of shredded carbon fiber). I think maybe a return to "spindle" would be advised.

It could just specify a height off the ground. That would be simpler.
