Big Phil

It is with an heavy heart to announce the passing of “Big Phil”

If you were around the TT Paddock in the 80e and 90s you will no doubt have experienced singing a song or dancing with big Phil if you wanted to borrow anything from Team Founds or even had a dance with Big Phil . A big guy with a big heart. RIP Phil x

That's sad news. Phil was a real character and always lifted the mood.
Had a good few laughs with him in the TT paddock in the 90s.
Anyone else remember his snoring? He kept the whole paddock awake at Cadwell one night! LOL.
RIP mate.

So sorry to hear this news. A brilliant guy, held in great affection by many. A lot of good memories at the Belgian circuits. His red dungarees were amazing.

Remembering those good times.

I remember Des telling a story about a hells Angel or some other sort of biker guy who he helped fix something for and the cost was sing a song or dance with big Phil. The guy refused to sing until big Phil came round the corner ready to dance. The biker guy apparently quickly started singing a song!
