Sidecar Revival date and venue agreed for 2019

Hot on the heels of the 2019 calender being finalised, we are now in a position to announce that the 2019 Sidecar Revival will once again take place at Cadwell Park over the weekend of 22/23 June.
Whilst this date effectively means three championship race weekends back-to-back, it is a date which fits not only our schedule, but also that of the FSRA.
This alone will give us a much larger entry of top-class sidecars over what is bound to be an absolute festival of sidecar action.
The large F2 contingent was missing from last year's event, so two championship races for the short chassis exponents, many of them TT regulars, will bring an extra dimension to the weekend.

Add to this the Camathias Cup entries with their fascinating and wonderfully sounding period outfits, and the solo GP Originals providing a look back at the halcyon days of TZ Yamaha dominance, and this will be a weekend to rival anything seen before.
Expect also to see an even bigger line-up of sidecar Grand Prix Legends and former world champions with their exotic two-stroke missiles.

Discussions are currently taking place with a title sponsor for the 2019 Cadwell Sidecar Revival, and as soon as those negotiations are complete, we'll make the announcement and begin the build-up process towards what will undoubtedly be a stellar weekend.

We appreciate the hectic schedule of three rounds on the trot, but all other avenues were thoroughly explored, both from a date, and venue perspective.
Having said that, there is no doubt the the Cadwell Park venue is ideally suited, and fits the bill perfectly in creating the atmosphere and sense of
occasion we seek.

The 2018 inaugural event was an outstanding success, giving us a perfect platform on which to build, with two rounds now scheduled at Cadwell Park.

May 4-6 Oulton Park 1 x race
14-16 June Brands Hatch GP 2 x races
22-23 June Revival Cadwell Park 3 x races
28-30 June Knockhill 3 x races
19-21 July Snetterton 2 x races
2-4 August Thruxton 3 x races
16-18 August Cadwell 2 x races
20-22 September Assen 2 x races
4-6 October Donington 2 x races
18-20 October Brands GP 2 x races and double points

All twenty-two races will score points towards the championship, with none being dropped.
At the time of going to press, discussions with the FIM World Championship organisers are ongoing, in an effort to minimise clashes and dove-tail the calendars where possible.
