Just out of interest (excuse my possible ignorance) why are sidecar outfits rarely entered with the full chassis/engine details?

As part of a massive project I’ve managed to log almost all the podium finishing outfits since 1975 by chassis/engines but it has taken some time.

Rarely have both been listed together as this year also proves.

I don't know why back in the day, but nowadays it is because the on-line entry system is not made for sidecars. You fill in different fields, but it's made for production bikes, when you have just make and model, no difference between chassis and motor.
So everyone fills it in manually in their own manner, putting in the info they think is important. it isn't standardized.
