The Sue Berg Fund (BHR)

Unread post by SlowPhil »

Coin rings are nothing new in fact I think someone probably made a ring form the first coin that was ever struck. I started making these when I was seventeen but haven’t made any for almost forty years. Well I’m back with a bang, making these for charity! I have decided that I will only use high purity silver or gold coins unless the coin is supplied by the customer. I will not be taking any money from this except the price of the coin and other material expenses. Generally cost is £40 (for some silver coins) with £20 going to the Sue Berg Fund as a general rule. Please contact me here or philjonez@hotmail.com or 07730784975, thank you all for your support :D

Just about made £200 for the BHR benevolent fund mostly from my friends in the racing world. The picture is of a 1916 florin, these are very nice to work with and are good for men or ladies rings.

The big one would only be good on a very large thumb and is made from an American Silver Eagle which as a coin has a diameter of 40.6mm and weighs in at an impressive one Troy ounce! :notworthy:
