Dear Sir or Madam.
Tim was a member of Dundee University Rugby Football Club from 1998 - 2002.
It has been over 20 years since many of us have spoken with Tim. However, as bad news travels fast, a group of his ex team mates have learned of his passing.
Yesterday, a group of former club members in Belfast, London, Newcastle, Glasgow and Chicago swapped fond memories of Tim. Despite our lives only overlapping for a season or 2 some time ago, he was remembered very fondly as being a gentle, kind, warm and most importantly, committed member of our Club as it was back then. Many matches and tours were shared with Tim. It was particularly poignant for us to see a picture of Tim, proudly holding some racing trophies wearing his old DURFC tie. That brought a genuine smile to many of us.

As a group of friends, we would ask you extend our sympathies to the family and friends of 'Big Tim'.

I just heard that Tim sadly passed away. Tim was a treasured member of Dundee University RFC. News of his passing has shocked and saddened all of us who knew him so many years ago. He was a true gentleman.
