It is with great regret to tell you that Dave passed away last month Dave was a good grass track rider and changed to tarmac in the early 80s his passenger was not up for it so I happily gave it a go in 1983 we had a fiddeman Suzuki 750 triple in 1984 I walked past verrels motorcycles and saw George Odells seymaz in the window needless to say I was in like a shot and a deal was done me and Dave raced it with a Yamaha to 500/700/750 motor for 1 and a half seasons then got a lcr we raced that for 2 seasons and got another one in 1988 and I stopped racing after the 1990 season and Dave carried on for another year I have got to say it was the best 8 years of my life I met loads of you and had a great time if you are looking down Dave thanks for the ball .
