How in gods name do manage to attach a photo to your messages in the lefthand colomn. I must be thick, Ive tried for an hour and I don't give up easily but I've got nowhere.
Help me John (little chud)

at the topp of the page double click on user control panel then the page will change when it does click on profile then edit avatar.it will then come up with a button sayin browse, click on this and browse through your pc until you get the picture you want select it then go to save changes

be warned though th picture cannot be to big or you cant use it

Find your picture 120x100pixels size maximum
Go to your "user control panel" at the top of the page.
Click "profile" on the left side.
Click "edit avatar".
If you have the picture saved on your PC - go to "browse" to the right of "upload from your machine".
Browse through your pics until you find your picture and open it.
If not stored on your PC just follow the instructions beneath!

the photo needs to be a max of 120x120 (from memory) and about 12Kb.
as long as it's small enough it should upload fine as the previous 2 posters have explained

Many thanks to all those who contacted with the required help. I think I've actually managed to do it. I suppose when I submit this I shall find out. It must be nice to be so clever!!! Dave

I felt really sorry for you that day Annette because you lay on the tarmac without moving for what seemed like ages and some people near me thought Robin had finished you off! I'm surprised you trusted him after that day!

Well done with that one Sylvia I saw this thread today but was reading through a proxy server at work as my site is barred (wonder why?) so couldn't see the images
