I have just been speaking to the new neighbours and was talking about bike racing and he said was it road racing and then said his brother raced outfits.
he raced sidecars ar southern 100 and club level. Think the nieghbour is 50ish so presume his brother could be between 45-55.
Gona pop round for drinks maybe sunday night so may find out more, but wondered if anyone knew the name.

Alan Withey
If its the Alan Withey I know, he raced with Dave Spark (who I see once or twice a week), Alan only occasionally. They also ran at international level in the early 70's. Between them they built a double Triumph engined outfit which was noted for shaking the frame to bits. They had one of the early Weslakes before retiring. Nice guy.

we went round the neighbours Chris withey on Sunday and he mentioned the frame that got shaken to bits. Am waiting for his brother to pop down and maybe chat to him somemore. Think his brother would have raced70's 80's. Thanks for the info so far, anymore info would be great.
Still can't believe, our new neighbours brother has a sidecar racing background small world.

Especially for Muck E, Mr Withey in action at Snetterton (Russells) circa 1970/71. Note the car type wheels.
