In a twenty-year sporting career, during which he played 125 matches, 250, 350, 600 and Sidecar, David James has gone from club racing to British and European Championships to the Grand Prix, where in the World Sidecar Championship won by three times in the title of World Champion in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Having retired from racing at the end of'99, now lives a few minutes from the circuit of Imola and directs the Ducati factory in Bologna sections and Motorcycle Racing Web site Ducati.com.

Bit late on catching up with these things... hardly surprising as anybody who tries to phone me confirm 
Haven't spoken to DJ for a couple of years, but last heard was moving up in Ducati and doing very well. And yes got married to Italian lady who was translator at Dr Costa's, living in a nice apartment in Bologna....... Must give Deej a ring soon LoL
