Dave and I will be there Thursday evening.

All three G&T outfits are booked and paid for Friday practice.

MetOffice forcast is good for Friday with sunny spells and showers over the weekend.

Last year I had rain, gales, hail and snow in one race at Pembrey so I'm now complaining about this weekends forcast.

Looks like we are not going to make it now :( What should have been a simple job has turned into a disaster. Lesson learned in classic circles is never trust anyone it seems despite their reputation.

That was merely the symptom. Sadly when we took the rocker box off it revealed that one of the head bolt threads has stripped

If it only it was that simple Bob. Problem is when we bought the barrells last year we were well and truly ripped off. They were charged as being new and clearly had been well used as following an earlier issue were measured and found to be well worn (Ricahrd Pecketts words!) so am not going to do a quick repair anymore. Guess we will be out of action for at least a few months whilst we attempt to gather funds for a new barrell etc.

Well in my first time on a classic at a track I didnt know and had never ridden with Papa Ed before we ended the weekend with: 2nd, 2 3rds and a 5th.
What a good doo. Was a great meeting, we had a good battle in the last race with Brian Gray (who pulled out) and Ian Johnson.
Bring on Darley Moor :D
