Thanks for all the kindly comments. I really enjoyed the racing yet again, there was some top stuff going on out there, just a shame that I could not be everywhere at once.

Some of you will be aware, that I now go trackside to take my photographs, mainly thanks to being the official photographer for the British Supermono series. There are a few photographers on here that already have that luxury, but what a different experience it is. For Sundays late races I was at Clearways, I love pictures from that corner and have always wanted to get trackside there, so I took the opportunity. Everything was going swimingly smoothly, the 600's were out, and I was happy snapping through my blinkered vision of a viewfinder on the camera. Suddenly there was a noise, I managed to get the camera just down from my eye in time to see an R6 heading at me at about 100mph. I saved the camera, took the full brunt of the gravel flying full in the face, and then had the armco shoved into my arm from the impact, which was literally where i was stood. If the metalwork had not been there, I would be in a right old mess!

So when you lot see us taking photos on a corner, try not to crash there, a siddecar has more weight behind it!

I am looking forward to seeing the next sidecar activity, which I believe may not be until September with Bemsee, at the lovely Snetterton circuit yet again!
