did greenwood have to push start his outfit? never thought about it until i saw that clip

them solo crashes were a bit of a thud!

Everyone pushed in those days. The threewheelers were allowed a third person to push while the driver sat in. This is why the threewheelers had to start at the back :) :) .

Just wonderful! Great to see Scheidegger and Camathias, both TT winners in my youth! Also Alwin Ritter winning in Hungary - Ritter was what the french call a unejambeist - one-legged!

Vincent drifting through Devils Elbow on last lap awsome, was just thinking how they had spoilt the track with the bus stop, as the solos started to fall, oh thats why they put it in. After watching the clips I now believe in MRs mantra 'classics they are the future'
