The North/South Divide

Unread post by sidecar bloke »

Ahoy Sparra', you old dog. North/South dinna concern yourself or worry that lad of your's, Michael's pretty little 'ead. If you're goin a be on the winning side you best be a Southern Softie. P1 we got Cotton Bud Etheridge, P2 Hardman Hodgkins, P3 Half Handy Houghton, Brian the Maidenhead Marauder, the one they call Kingsmill who can snap a T45 tube just by looking at it and Dangerous Roger!

Those Northern Numpties apart from the Veteran Eddy and Vic (the nearly people) who have they got? Mike Bellaby who's cannon keeps going up in smoke, Si Smith who likes to do things single handed, the Rotherham Flyer, Kerry and the Big Twin, along with Keith Latheron who has been known to jump ship.

I tell you Cap'n your powder's drier with us.

Do you notice how quite the Captain of the Orange Jigger's gone - like a musket with no balls.

just to put the cat amongst the pigeons...............what about a male/female v. male/male challenge?

We'd have:-
Ed 'n' Vic
The Ballistic Belgians
The Rotherham Flyers
Both OTE teams
Team Holmes
Mr and Mrs Cotton Bud
Richard and Kim on the Harley

and I'm sure Buddha would look good in a frock!

Oh yes, a grid full of BMWs - reminds of the restaurant scene in 'When Harry Met Sally' ;)

Annette, as fas as I am aware, it would be based on the date of the engine. We enter ours as a 1972 as that is the year of the engine. The chassis was made in or around 1968.
