Whey hey,,,,,my first post on here after getting fed up waiting for Sidenet to be sorted........... sorry Sid
Anyway an answer to the question about the pictures posted by Wendy on page 2. ( BTW am I right in thinking Wendy is Lee's Mum ?)
1st photo from left to right we have second placed Stuart Hall and Tony Darby ,in first place was Dutch passenger Rinne Bettgens with Driver Gary Thomas and in third place after many years of trying was Greg Mahon and the peoples champion Dick Tapkin.
Dutchman Rinne Bettgens was the co pilot for Jos Van Stekelenburg who were competing in the Euros and occasional GP's at that time.
The second shot is a bit more of a mystery regarding the first pair on the far left, the winners were Stuart and Lee with the Wolverhampton flyers Graham Wellington and driver Eric Cornes with their bright yellow SS Engineering 700 Yam Ireson.
The last shot as above apart from Eric and Graham have swapped places (Eric in the white T shirt) but the voyeur on the far right just happens to be my hero Mr Applegate.
Regards,
Fritz,,,,,,,,

In the last shot, the pair on the left are Mike Salmon and Tony Wilde.
I took the shell off my racing snail thinking it would make him faster.
It just made him more sluggish.
It just made him more sluggish.
