I remember that race we were 23rd only 22 allowed to start. Flew home with John, wifey, Christine Haynes, and a very young Muck E. When we got back to Heathrow there was a tanoy call for Christine, Jeff had been taken ill after the race. I ended up flying back to Rome the next day with Chrisitine.

It was sooooo hot there everybody was punching holes in there leathers to get some airflow, putting on wet T'shirts etc.
