Ok on a more serious note........
I voted no to push starts

.
Ive been left twice on the grid just before the warm up lap and that was mainly due to my inexperience (I have grown up with F2s). Neil Wheatley also got left in the holding bay at Chimay on the long circuit, Ed did half a lap before he noticed he wasn't there, which you dont wanna be doing round there.
I personally wouldn't want to be pushing while on the front row, I just think there'd be arms and legs broken every time out. It'd probably be alright for people like Ed, Brian Gray, Ian Johnson bla bla bla all the experienced riders out there who know how to manage push starts and are prepared for someone not starting in front of them, but for the less experienced riders who are new to the sport I think it'd be a complete nightmare.
Both times Eds left me, we've been quite lucky that someone has made him aware that Ive not got on before we've got to a corner, but can you imagine what it'd be like at somewhere like Anglesey or Scarborough where the first corner is a left hander?? My guess is whoever it was would end up upside down and doing a lot of damage to the bike and themselves and more than likely cause a red flag.... and where will that eventually lead to?.......... less track time for sidecars!
Ok these are worse case scenarious but you get my drift. If push starts came back, I wouldnt stop racing with the club, but if i had the chance to do an F2 meeting on the same weekend as a classic meeting id do the F2, last season it was the other way round!
Oh and by the way, all that rambling wasn't cos our bike is difficult to start, 3 steps and it fires no problems!
