A few more problems to sort before we get to the misfire.
Main one being no clutch to speak of.
It's got some sort of hydraulic system, non original, which just doesn't have enough movement to move lever at clutch cover.
Would an R1 originally have had a cable operated clutch?
Must remember to stay off the grass

yes they are cable mate,we used hydraulic on our old tubular with r1 and it worked fine.takes alot of messin about though to get it right

Got a clutch of sorts now, as you say a lot of messing to get it right, hope it's still there tomorrow
The other worry is that it will "build up" with use and I'll end up with a slipping clutch.
May look at putting it back to cable.
Must remember to stay off the grass
