Bob took over the Rutherford Norton from Bill Crozier who was local to us. Bill had a really bad accident at Silloth and then became the machanic for Bob.They later built the Rutherford Konig and if I remember correctly Bob had quit a bit success on that.

Very happy memories of Bill and Bob, two very talented and stylish riders.
Bob was, of course, also an accomplished sidecar passenger, and one of his closest friends was Jimmy Law who also succumbed to the big C just over a year ago. Both were very funny guys, in different ways. Jimmy was just downright hilarious, but Bob was droll.

does anybody no if the rutherford konig survived? i believe it was one of a trio of frames I built in 74/75 if it did I would like to no its ware abouts today. also if anybody has any photos of it I would love to see them thanks dave
