Lori was an Italian mates wife... she's not now though
This meeting nearly didn't happen. We tested at a club race at Brands with a brand spanking new LCR fairing & carbon undertray. Done three laps and it caught fire (not enough clearance betwwen exhaust & undertray     We left on the Tuesday for Italy, Dropped off the fairing at a mates car repair shop near Milan and said just repair it and paint it whatever colour you think will look good   We didn't see the fairing til the Thursday when we were on route to the track. They knew we had a lot of help from Elf Italia (Thanks to Saul moto) and thats how it came to us.
Coxy actually had only broken his back 6 weeks before this photo,,, What a STAR ! It did give him an excuse not to help repair the bike after the fire damage though.... wiring loom/ fuel hoses, rubbers etc.... What bl oody nightmare that was?

Did it catch fire at Magny Cours as well? I'm sure I remember fire extinguisher powder there or was that someone else?
