We had a ball in our VW Camper van chasing it each day to get back to the Sulby Claddahs (our base) before the roads closed.......

We got to chat to John Holden for a short time before he got talking with other people interested in his up and coming task...

John's machine for all to see.... and the stunning LCR SWB chassis,,,,,,,like anything else in sidecar terms,,, an engineering master piece.

Tony Bakers fairing pictured here ,,,,,,,We didn't get chance to speak to anyone, but I did remind my son that Tony's wife once gave me some cold lasagna early one morning before the last GP of the season at Hungaroring in 1990....

Last but not least we caught up with Greg Lambert and Jason Salous, I reminded Greg about the time I raced against him and Terrie SaIone in 1994 , I made my self know to Greg and Jason and wished them luck for the 2010 TT......

Freddie came away more than impressed with the fact his Dad still knew some of these chaps who were racing on the worlds finest road circuit.....

PS, We were only on he island a day when my lad Freddie said if he had known how special the IOM was he would have given up his YMCA trip to the Lakes to stay for race week.....
