They decided to only run the Sidecar Newcomers on Saturday due to bad weather so they put us on the grid and set us off after the solo's. We have been going from pit lane for the rest of the week

So why does not the actual newcomer wear the jacket? Is it so it does not affect their mobility on the chair?

I got my visor caught in a driver's orange jacket at the festival a couple of years ago coming out of the hairpin, didn't I LEE :P

not so much affect the passengers mobility, i think its more of a safety thing and wiv the vest on you become very slippery when in contact wiv the body/paint work :shock:
