Who is staying, who is coming home?
How many crews have work commitments or have a ferry booking that means they will not stay for the second race?
So how long have I had these voices in my head, I hear you ask?

Mike Cookson's gone, Matt Dix has gone - just spoke to Gary Partridge, they're being told that the next boat is the 19th and some are booked onto it, that's a long way away!
sis reckoned last night that Bill Currie was going this morning and Tony Elmer last night, but that might have changed since of course.
At the moment it's blowing a gale, a few awnings have gone over

Re: Who is staying, who is coming home?
we were told that they could only guarentee that both vehicles would have a crossing on tuesday at earliest, so went to the bar where unusually a sensible decision was made to go home as planned, but not before a fair few unsensible options were thrown out.
Should have booked later crossing and will do next year , but once again there was no effort made from organisers, or our beloved steampacket to keep competitors on the grid, although i do understand how busy they must be.

Why do people go over to the TT a week in advance but then cut it so fine to get back?? Its hardly like practice is going to be brought forward!! Doesnt seem very logical to me

does give you a few days to do some laps & familiarise yourself with it again before it gets too busy though

There is work to be done for some. But yes lesson learned.
