Here is another of his creations the rising rate front end came from this chassis that he had been working on but when I asked at a F2 AGM if we could race this were told no as it had an upright on the rear and not a conventional swing arm. Pity as it was a lovely looking chassis and was built to house a TZ.The rear upright was used on Paul Hansens chassis which had a 4 cylinder Armstrong his chassis was a copy of the small un as he would call them.

Paul Hanson's engine isn't an Armstrong it's a genuine Barton Pheonix, same as Nigel Rollason.
I think Wal Saunders has the rights to these engines  :P
Last time I saw Paul out was in Forgotten Era in the mid 90's, where he was allowed out with special "Dispensation" another one of the Mancs/Lancs mafia.
I've got a good mate who built these engines in Cearnarvon ( spelt wrong ) Silver Dream Racer.
Eric Buell of harley davidson fame came over here & bought the company.
Barton Pheonix.

It really annoys me that the Americans come and buy all our best stuff. What is the matter with them cant they invent, and develop things ?

Just had a call from Lewie (Lewis) Ward this evening, the Armstrong will soon be breathing again he has been working along side a guy Richard from Rave engineering who has the rights to manufacture the Armstrong CM36 engine. A lot of the internals have been re-designed with machining help from manxman Steve Moynihan and he also mentioned that Barry Hart will be coming on board soon to help finish further development off.

Your right, I always got on well with Colin, he was a very, very good engineer. I've heard people on here slag him, if he could help you he would & he had some very good ideas.
