CRMC to Re-Open Donington / Friday

The Donington Revival Meeting is scheduled to go ahead on the 13th to 15th August 2010, Sidecar entries are already up to 26 outfits so grids are full, The meeting will feature over 50 solo, sidecar races with several classic parades and lunchtime spectator parades by the Norton Owners Club and VJMC.

Looks to be a great weekend with good numbers of spectators expected.

It will be close between Eddy and Matt, and Nick Houghton entered as well should be good, oh and the return of Perkybone racing with their new engine

A wet start to proceedings for Friday morning practice,cleared up enough for a dry race in the afternoon.
In the early laps Eddy Wright + Vicky Cooke led the way from Matt Kingsmill + Alan Bedford,while Nick Houghton + Paul Thomas were catching fast,the last few laps seeing some close action.Mike Bellaby with Andy Smith replacing the injured Karl Underwood,led the close 8 outfit battle for 4th.Jon Perkins + Pete Allebone retired from 5th on lap 4

The win eventually going to Eddy + Vicky,Matt + Alan taking 2nd after Nick + Paul received a penalty (yellow flag?)..
