Thank you to the Organiser's for a great meeting, also a huge thank you to the marshalls and medical staff who tended Ian Mcgee & Roger Holmes after their crash on the left of the esses, Ian has a bruised chest,Roger has a broken wrist which is being operated on today & a bruised ankle. We now have a very short wheelbase Weslake. If there is any body who was taking some video recordings on or near the left of the esses of the first classic race on Saturday i would like to buy one

Glad to hear their injuries aren't too bad, looked quite a nasty one. We just missed Roger, god knows how, more luck than judgement anyway :)

Mend soon boys :D

John the best thing to do is contact the reps for each,

'sidecarbloke' on here is the CRMC rep, although i don't know if the CRMC rules were used for the festival?

The Post Classic would have been to FSRA regs, I'll get you Stu Mellor or Dave Tibbles emails later on, I know the contact page on the FSRA site is temporarily unavailable (it was me what done it  )
IF YOU'VE FORGOTTEN YOUR LOGIN EMAIL ME, WE ARE GOING BACK TO BEING LOGGED IN TO READ.

We did use the CRMC and VMCC regs (loosely) at the Festival as they were non-championship races.

The F350 and Post Classic races were championship rounds, so the rules had to be strictly adhered to on those.

Dave,
I'd just like to say thanks for the best organised meeting I've ever been involved in.
Your efforts really were appreciated by all of us.

Just to say that Roger Holmes also BROKE his ankle - not spotted until he visited his local hospital. He had both operated on today. (he also drove back down to Clacton with his 2 breaks! tough sorts, these classic passengers!)

The Mallory Park Sidecar Festival, was such a great event, lovely to see such a great mix from Vintage to F1. This event should be better advertised as I only found out shortly before and due to engine building, I could only make the Sunday....but so well worth it.

Great racing by all, but must say well done by "The Pirate & Buddha" for making it from 13th to 6th place in lap 1, on the last race, also Eddy & Vicky taking out the 998 Imp (I believe and not the 1200) and yet still finished near the top.

The event was so well run, with great communication to the paddock, and no time wasted between races. Thank you race organisers, staff, Marshall's and brilliant racing.

A big thank you to all the marshal's and medical staff at Mallory Park for doing a great job and looking after me. Thanks also to all of the sidecar crews that missed me. On the mend and I'll see you next season!

Speaking to Linda of P2 Triumph fame - she Googled the band - the show at Mallory was an extremely tame, watered-down version of their normal show!

I'd still have prefered some good old fashioned classic rock - but that's probably an age thing!!
